💚 This funny green creature is nothing but a seaweed, which has earned its own name “Green Ball Algae” due to its shape! Although this shape is typical more of the juvenile stages, and then flattens out over time
🌊 It can be found down to a depth of about 50 meters, on well-lit seabeds that tend to be rocky, where it remains attached to you thanks to a powerful foot on the lower surface of its body
🤿 During our snorkeling trips it is not difficult to come across Codium bursa, and although they often do not arouse the same interest as other organisms, we assure you that seeing hundreds of them all together is truly inspiring!
