The Via Julia Augusta from Ventimiglia to Menton
We begin our walk with an interesting stroll through the history-laden alleys of Ventimiglia Alta, an unjustly still little-known village in a panoramic position above the promontory. At the end we begin our walk along the ancient Roman road to reach the spectacular Porta Canarda. From here we follow a beautiful scenic path over the Latte coastline passing among ancient villas a stone's throw from the sea. After walking a short stretch of asphalt road, you will take the ancient road again, passing through the Hanbury Botanical Gardens, and then climb back up to the state road and from here, after another stretch along the Aurelia, you will descend to the beach to walk along a beautiful path overlooking the sea. You will then reach the Balzi Rossi from the impressive cliffs, with the famous "egg beach." We are now at the border with France and the next stop will be in Menton, where we will walk along the beautiful promenade.

Suitable for anyone who is used to walking trails with a fair amount of elevation gain and is in normal mental and physical condition.
The Guide may decide not to allow those who do not have the proper shoes or those who are deemed unfit to participate in the trek.

Panoramic sea view trekking
Fund: mixed. Beaten path, rocky, paved, beach. Stairs along the path.
Clothing: Layered technical, windproof, rainproof, bandana.
Shoes: hiking or gymnastic but with a sculpted sole suitable for walking on gravel paths.
Backpack: small first aid, usual medicines, sunscreen, water at least 1 liter, snacks and possible packed lunch.
