An authentic experience among nature, culture and Ligurian traditions-a perfect way to experience the mountains in autumn and discover the flavors and history of Murialdo.
An autumn trek in the heart of the Bormida Valley, among the colors of the chestnut forests and the atmosphere of the traditional Tecci Festival of Murialdo.
The trail starts and finishes in the Town Square of Borgata Piano, in Murialdo, and winds through country chapels, mysterious ponds and evidence of rural life.
On the way we will visit: the Chapel of St. Agatha, surrounded by greenery; the striking Lake of the Masche, linked to local legends; a chestnut grove with dryer still active, where Marco Bianco will demonstrate traditional chestnut processing; the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene; the curious Sword in the Rock; i ruins of the castle of the Del Carretto family, with a dramatized historical cameo by Mary Mary Rose Marsilio; the Chapel of St. Thomas, the Chapel of San Bernardino, and finally the’Oratory of St. Augustine and the Church of St. Lawrence.
