Trekking and Theater in Garlenda
The long-awaited Feast of St. Catherine in Garlenda's picturesque Borgata Castelli, with a special event combining nature, culture and tradition.
For the occasion, participants will be able to reach the township by a pleasant Guided trekking among historic townships, accompanied by one of our environmental hiking guides. A simple route suitable for everyone, immersed in the Ligurian landscape, which will allow you to discover curiosities and history of the area.
Once at the destination, the village will come alive thanks to a touring theater among its streets: the theater company “The Beautiful ... That Goes.” will stage funny skits in dialect, telling the story of Garlenda and its connection to the ancient Salt Roads.
The evening will continue with one of the most anticipated moments of the festival: the traditional bonfire at 10:00 p.m., a symbol of community and conviviality.
Program
- 5:15 p.m. - Meeting and departure at the Town Hall (Borgata Ponte, Garlenda)
- About 7:00 p.m. - Arrival at Borgata Castelli and start of traveling theater performance
- 8:00 p.m. - Opening food stands (optional participation in the festival)
- 10:00 p.m. - Lighting of the bonfire
