Ring of Cape Noli. Trekking
September 12 @ 9:00 am - 15:00
Free
An itinerary that encapsulates the essence of our Gulf: sea, rock and history that have been intertwined here for centuries. From the village of Noli we immediately enter the Mediterranean maquis, accompanied by spectacular views of the sea and the coast that the ascent to Cape Noli offers from the very first steps.
The vistas gradually become wider and more amazing, reaching out, on clear winter days, to all of eastern Liguria, Tuscany, and our two western islands.
Continuing on we reach one of the landmarks of this loop: the Grotta dei Falsari, a natural balcony suspended over the blue. The Pilgrim's Path then leads us among ancient traces of history: ruins of ancient churches and ancient roads. We then arrive at the Torre delle Streghe, from which we overlook the vertical cliffs of Capo Noli, the splendid beaches of Malpasso and the rocky environment that has made this stretch of coastline famous.
The path continues to the Manie plateau, amid Mediterranean scents and arbutus trees overlooking the sea, until it reaches an ancient rural settlement, which has retained this vocation since Roman times, with the bright plain of Isasco, a tranquil basin nestled among the mountains.
A ring full of views, history and nature-the ideal way to discover the Gulf of the Island from an authentic and spectacular perspective.
