A beautiful hike, immersed in the beech forest of Bardineto, from the Giogo di Toirano to the summit of Mount Carmo, following a section of the famous Alta VIA dei MONTI LIGURI. If the weather is clear, from the top of the mountain our gaze will embrace the entire Alpine arc and the Ligurian Sea and even Corsica.
Feeling in the mountains 8 km from the sea is a real privilege "u Carmu"(the mountain) in fact offers us different environments in which to immerse ourselves in a single excursion: alpine views, scrub forests and endemic specialties.

Departure: 10:00 a.m. Castagnabanca location
Length: about 5 miles
Height difference: about 800 m.
Equipment: hiking shoes, poles, clothing suitable for weather conditions, small first aid kit, water to drink at least one liter, packed lunch.
