Did you know that the Bergeggi Island Marine Protected Area is divided into zones?
There are 3: Zone A, Zone B, and Zone C
🚦In each of these areas, we imagine that we have a large traffic light that tells us what activities we can do:
🔴 = the activity is NOT permitted
🟠 = the activity is allowed, but regulated
🟢 = the activity is permitted
🌍 Let's discover zone A together!
❌ Within this area, very few activities are allowed (such as guided underwater tours, excluding nighttime tours, or film and television shooting activities), but most importantly, they are always REGULATED! This means that if you want to enter Zone A to carry out any of these activities, special permits must be applied for!
❤️ That is why zone A is also called of INTEGRAL RESERVE.
🐠 The establishment of such strict rules have been essential over the years, and still are, to respect and protect the unique fauna and flora of this Marine Protected Area!
🛶 For this reason, during our guided tours we will never enter Zone A, but stay in Zone B!
