Bergeggi: Sughereta and Fort St. Helena

A short treekking to learn about the plurality of Bergeggi's natural environments. We start from the Bergeggi Information Point in Via Aurelia and from there we reach the Natte cork oak forest, the largest in western Liguria, reach Mount Rocchetto with the remains of Fort Sant'Elena and the paraglider take-off runway. From here the view encompasses the entire Gulf of Isola and the eastern coast. After enjoying the view, descend to the village of Bergeggi and return to the starting point.
What to bring: hiking shoes, layered clothing, windproof jacket, sunscreen, bandana, water at least one liter, small personal first aid and usual medicines.
Approx. 6 km, elevation gain 250 m
Intended for regular walkers.
Participation cost 15€ to be paid directly to the guide.
