A breathtaking trek from Santa Margherita Ligure  a San Fruttuoso via the beautiful Portofino. We accompany you to discover by land and sea the Portofino Park, stretching between two gulfs-the Tigullio and the Paradise. A scenic excursion that embraces the most beautiful villages of the gulf of Tigullio and the Gulf of Paradise, absolutely not to be missed!

Our beautiful day begins at St. Margaret's, renowned tourist resort of the Tigullio Gulf.

The first part of the walk, which will take us to Portofino, is all sea view and on asphalt, suitable for everyone.

From the center of St. Margaret's We proceed along the waterfront by going along the dolphin coast toward the castle and the town's marina and leaving the town center behind. The route gradually becomes more and more picturesque and gives us magnificent views and colors that accompany us until we reach a magnificent place, the hamlet of Paraggi with its bay recognized as the most beautiful in Liguria. We proceed enjoying along the way two magnificent panoramic stops and finally reach Portofino.

Here a short visit and break before we begin our actual trek that will take us to discover an ancient and magical place: San Fruttuoso di Camogli with its Abbey, in the Bay of Capodimonte, walking the paths of the Portofino Park.

To continue the trek, hiking shoes are compulsory from this time and poles are recommended.

The goal of our trek is to reach San Fruttuoso, a unique and fascinating place that can only be reached on foot, through the Park, or by sea.

Our trail begins with a steep flight of steps that in a short time will be able to give us a truly impressive view of Portofino and the surrounding farmlands.

It continues through forests and sea views that make this trek one of the most beautiful in the Levant Liguriae. We continue to a World War II military post and begin the descent to San Fruttuoso, arriving there from the area of fishermen's dwellings.

We will visit this magical place, its monuments and history together, while the visit to the Abbey will be optional.

After a well-deserved break at San Fruttuoso, we take the boat to Camogli. Duration of the journey about 15 to 20 minutes. Camogli awaits us with its beautiful palisade of colorful houses, and from here we will return by bus to our places of departure.

TOTAL TREKKING LENGTH: 10 km approx.

Suitable for anyone who is used to walking trails with a fair amount of elevation gain and is in normal mental and physical condition.

Other details:

Route: beautiful scenic hike between the two gulfs: the Gulf of Tigullio and the Gulf of Paradise by sea with regular boats and on foot through the beautiful paths of Portofino Park.

Shoes: hiking shoes compulsory, poles recommended.
Clothing: layered technical, windproof, rainproof, bandana.
In your backpack: small first aid kit, usual medicines, sunscreen, water at least 1 liter, snacks and possible packed lunch, and swimsuit.
The Guide may decide not to allow those who do not have the proper shoes or those who are deemed unfit to participate in the trek.
