At night the city is illuminated and some details are enhanced more, while others disappear.

Through the streets of the city we will go to rediscover the history of a prosperous medieval city that in 1528, after hard struggles with Genoa, lost all its wealth and autonomy. Like a victim of a spell, the city had to wait several centuries before it again played an important role in the ’economy of the region. Nineteenth-century transformations, which had already begun in the Napoleonic era, gave a new urban layout to the city that we can admire in the many Art Nouveau buildings that make it up. In the evening these buildings, well lit, are even more striking.

Major urban transformations prepared Savona for its role as the industrial city of the 20th century. In the 1990s, the steel industry would give way to a new economic transformation of the city: tourism. Savona is constantly transformed and like a phoenix always rises from its own ashes.

Stages: Piazza Pertini, Corso Italia with Palazzo Delle Piane, Priamar, Darsena, Via Paleocapa with Palazzo dei Pavoni, Piazza Maddalena, Piazza Sisto, Corso Italia and Piazza Mameli.
