Under the starry sky. Night trekking and stargazing with Prof. Ugo Ghione
9 July @ 8:30 p.m. - 23:30
Free
An evocative experience among nature and stars, immersed in the silence of the night.
The night trek, accompanied by an environmental hiking guide (GAE), starts from the Torre d'Ere location in Bergeggi and follows a fascinating path through the forest, amid Mediterranean scents and unique atmospheres.
The path leads to the clearing near the former Fort St. Helena, at the parapendi0 take-off runway: an extraordinary scenic spot from which there is a splendid view of the Bergeggi Island.
Here, away from artificial lights, participants will experience a special moment dedicated to observing the summer starry sky, guided by astrophile Ugo Ghione, which will accompany the discovery of constellations, planets and curiosities of the firmament.
A unique opportunity to combine the pleasure of walking with the magic of astronomical observation, in one of the most fascinating places on the Ligurian coast.
What to bring:
hiking shoes, flashlight, insect repellent, mat or pillow to sit on and enjoy the experience. Hiking poles recommended for those accustomed to using them.
The event is free and is part of the activities of the Municipality of Bergeggi and the Bergeggi Island Marine Protected Area to promote sustainable tourism.
