Let's enjoy the sunshine of Nice by exploring the city on foot.

Nice is one of the most fascinating cities in the Mediterranean, and its light has impressed the most important painters of the last century from Matisse to Chagall who even chose it as their home, while its pleasant winter temperature has attracted and continues to attract discerning travelers from all over the world.

During our urban trek we will discover the most characteristic corners of Nice from the hill of Cimiez to that of the Castle passing through the old town, characterized by craft stores, art galleries and typical restaurants. Here a stop at the flower market, one of the most characteristic markets in France, is a must. From Castle Hill we will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city and the sea. We will descend to the port and walk along the Promenade des Anglais, the famous waterfront promenade, to the famous Negresco hotel. From here we will continue the trek ending at the train station.

Urban trekking in Nice is along a mixed trail with paved road, sidewalks and paving stones. Presence of stairs along the trail.

Height difference in ascent 110 mt. Height difference in descent 110 mt.

Suitable for anyone who is in good physical condition and enjoys walking even for several hours. Required sure-footedness. Comfortable shoes and clothing for ’hiking.

Shoes: trekking or sneakers but with a sculpted sole suitable for walking on gravelly trails.
Clothing: layered technical, windproof, rainproof, bandana.
In your backpack: small first aid kit, usual medicines, sunscreen, water at least 1 liter, snacks and possible packed lunch.

The Guide may decide not to allow those who do not have the proper shoes or those who are deemed unfit to participate in the trek.
