Between sky and sea. From Riva Trigoso to Sestri Levante via Punta Manara.
A scenic hike from Riva Trigoso to Sestri Levante via one of Liguria's most picturesque spots: the promontory of Punta Manara.
Our wonderful and scenic trek in eastern Liguria begins in Riva Trigoso. The first section is an uphill mule track that will allow us to gain elevation by reaching Ginestra locality and the Verde-Azzurro path that we will follow among the scents and colors of the Mediterranean scrub and wonderful views of Riva and Punta Baffe until we reach the Telegraph of Punta Manara and the remains of an ancient Saracen Tower, one of the most panoramic points in the whole of Liguria. From here the view is splendid and extensive, from Punta Mesco to the Portofino Promontory.
The beauty of the place makes it the perfect destination for a lunch stop, after which we will continue to Sestri Levante, the city of two seas. Along the trail, wonderful views will open up to the eye toward Sestri, the Bay of Silence and the Gulf of Tigullio.
Arriving in Sestri Levante we will walk through the streets of the town's picturesque historic center.
