PIETRA LIGURE: the "Pria" among caruggi, oratories and olive trees overlooking the sea

Easy trekking among caruggi, oratories and olive groves overlooking the sea

A slow-paced hike to learn about the "Borgo de Pria," the historical soul of Pietra Ligure, an ancient fishing village with charming "caruggi" and monuments such as the medieval Castle and the Basilica of San Nicolò.
We will reach Rocca delle Fene, a place that bears witness to Neolithic settlements, and Asinolla Park, a veritable terrace overlooking the Ligurian Sea, among verdant olive trees and tame donkeys. Here we will be able to stop for lunch (packed or at the Park's charming café).
Our walk will continue sea view, returning to the Borgo di Pietra Ligure. Along the way, the following will be told: poems, legends, ancient sayings, recipes... in a mix of art, Ligurian flavors and traditions to be experienced while walking.
