In case of bad weather, the visit may favor indoor spaces (palaces, museums...); it is possible to use the spaces of an oratory for an indoor packed lunch.

SECONDARY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS
To middle and high schools we propose:
DISCOVERING THE ANCIENT REPUBLIC OF GENOA
(preferably between October and March)
The educational path will take us through the most important moments of the Great History: the Middle Ages, when the walls of Barbarossa will tell us about the struggles between the Empire and the Commons, while the ashes of St. John the Baptist and the Holy Grail will revive the spirit of the Crusades. The modern age is symbolized by the Siglo de oro de los genoveses, with the splendor of Garibaldi Street and of the rolli palaces. The contemporary age is represented by Mazzini's house, now the Risorgimento Museum, the famous Quarto dei Mille cliff, emigration (Galata Museum) but also to the sumptuous palaces and elegant streets of the Belle Époque.
A snack stop, perhaps at one of the historical workshops where you can taste the typical Genoese specialties such as focaccia or pànera, a coffee parfait, devised in the mid-19th century.
Depending on the class attended and the topics studied in class, the Genoa visit may focus more on one or more of these topics:
- Genoa Maritime Republic, the downtown medieval
- Between Renaissance and Baroque, Genoa's golden century: via Garibaldi
- visit inside some of the famous palaces of the Rolli, or of the prince's villa, Andrea Doria's residence.
- visit of one of the museums of Genoa: it is possible to create themed routes, for example marked on the Risorgimento and the unification of Italy, with a visit to Mazzini's house and the cemetery of Staglieno with the tombs of the Thousand. Another possible pairing: the old town and the Galata Museo del Mare, the largest and most innovative maritime museum in the Mediterranean.
- coach tours with stops at Castelletto, Colombo's house, Boccadasse.
